These sugar scrubs are a specialty of my 10 year old daughter. They have simple ingredients and are excellent at sloughing off rough dead skin that gets in the way of your moisturizer getting through. I personally love to use these scrubs on my elbows in the winter and my toughened garden hands the rest of the year. They leave whatever you scrub moisturized and revitalized.
Our base is made of sugar and a few oils, mostly coconut, that we whip to a fluffy texture. The lavender option has lavender flowers and essential oil added. The peppermint option has peppermint essential oil and fresh peppermint leaves added. The coffee option has coffee grounds added. The lemon option has lemon oil and fresh lemon zest added.
